Player Scores for BF42
  I have the Player Scores back up for BF42. They usually update themselves every hour but can take longer if the server is busy. The BF42 score is more then just kills and deaths. It has your favorite maps, weapons, player vs player and much more. Play few rounds and see how well you did...or did not do.


 

BF 42 Server
  
I have had several emails and a couple of people in the forums asking the 42 server. The BF42 server is up and running. I just kinda forgot about it because I thought no played anymore. The players stats page thanks to Jerry are being re-enabled and the server stat page is back also. 

There is no TS as of yet and probably will not be as it is an extra cost and with so many other ways to chat, at this time it is not likely that I will start. You can use XFire and Steam voice to play, just invite the people you want to play with.

  You might want to bokmark this page for future reference. You can use Vista and Windows 7 for free up to four months. Open a command prompt and type enter “slmgr -rearm" This will reset it for one month and will work four times.

Intel to phase out I-7 940
  Intel is getting ready to discontinue its first processor based on the Nehalem micro-architecture after roughly six months in the market. Specifically, the company has notified its partners that the 2.93GHz Core i7 940 CPU is being phased out as demand towards the chip has shifted to other products. It’ll be a while until it is officially off the market, however – customers can place their final orders for the 940 until September. Intel will ship its last boxed units on December 4 this year and the last tray flavors of the chip on November 5, 2010.

  A high level executive from Acer reports that Windows 7 will be released by Oct.23 in time for the holiday season. Again as noted in another story, Windows 7 will come in 6 flavors as if they did not learn from Vista. Confused you still will be after this episode of Windows.
